Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Chandigarh and drive to Manali
Pick up from Chandigarh Railway station and drive to Manali (305 Kms/7.5 hrs approximately). Arrive Manali and check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Manali.
The magnetic town of Manali beckons to the souls of adventurers, nature lovers as well as solace-seekers. Nestled in the Himalayas, in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Manali is a charming hill station. A part of the northern end of the Kullu Valley, it is situated by the Beas river at a height of 1,926 m above sea level. Floral meadows, gurgling streams, snow-capped mountains, lofty mountain passes, temples and Buddhist monasteries give this tiny town the allure of a fairy-tale setting.
Day 2 : A day in Manali
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
The day is marked to explore the highlights of the city. You would be visiting Mall Road, Hadimba Temple and Vashisht caves.
A place of historical and archaeological importance, the Hadimba or Dhoongri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhima, a figure from the epic Mahabharata. It is among the most prominent temples in Manali that draws tourists both for spiritual reasons and its architectural appeal.
Vashisht lies just 19 km from Manali, and is a short drive away. A tiny hamlet, it is very famous for the ancient temple dedicated to sage Vashisht. The temple premise is also home to hot water springs, which are much frequented by the locals, especially in the freezing winter that the region sees. Go here for an inherently locals’ experience and an insight into the religious practices here.
After the visits return to the hotel.

Day 3 : Drive from Manali to Shimla via Solang valley
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Checkout from the hotel and visit Solang valley (13 Kms/ 30 min approximately). Solang valley is an internationally renowned ski resort. Located at an elevation of 2500 m, the destination draws thousands of newly wed couples and adventure enthusiasts. Solang is a small village about 13 km from Manali. Clean and fresh air, spell-binding surroundings, surrounding mountains soaring up to 6000 m and various summer and winter sports make it a favorite place among the tourists.
Later, continue driving to Shimla (114 Kms/ 4hrs approximately).
Arrive in Shimla and check in at the hotel.

One of the most stunning hill resorts, Shimla is one of the most popular hill stations in northern India. Situated at an altitude of 2,205 meters, it used to be the summer capital of British India with a well-planned architecture. The town is famous for pleasant walking experiences on hillsides surrounded by pine and oak forests. From mid-July to mid-September, it is covered with a snow blanket making it a muse for all nature lovers.
Day 4 : A day in Shimla
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
On this day, explore highlights of the city. You will visit Jakhu temple and Viceroy lodge.
Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Jakhu temple is at an altitude of 8048 feet above sea level, near the highest point of Shimla ridge. It offers a panoramic view over the surrounding valleys, out to the snow-capped peaks, and over the town itself.Jakhu is a vantage point for witnessing the changing skyline as the sun rises or sets.
Drenched in colonial vibes, this majestic building of Viceroy lodge is one of India’s best and well-maintained British-era buildings. Surrounded by a lush green botanical garden, Viceregal Lodge once served as the summer residence of the Indian viceroy when the administrative center shifted from Delhi to Shimla.
Evening is free to explore the mall road. Most of Shimla’s landmarks are located here.This is the main shopping center of Shimla with restaurants. This is especially pleasant in the evenings when the views and lights are wonderful. The Gaiety Theatre, which is a reproduction of an old British theater, is a center of cultural activities. Lakkar Bazaar adjacent to the Ridge is popular for its wood-crafts and souvenirs.

Day 5 : Shimla-Kalka-Chandigarh
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Check out from the hotel and board the train to Kalka. You have the option to cover the whole journey by train. Or after a short train ride you may board the car and reach Chandigarh for your onward train/flight.
